Audra sent a sketch. Very cool. If I am interpreting correctly, it is the kimono embellished on top with fans that reminds me of a peacock tail. I like this composition. It mimics nature. I am concerned about the constraints of working with natural cherry blossoms and the idea that we cut them without permission. Maybe you all disagree, but I'd like to make our own with similar materials. How do you feel group?
I will be home Sunday evening to work onmy sketch idea,post it, and get your feedback hopefully by Monday night. I have to formalize the REQUEST FORM for this project that is due Tuesday at that time as well. Please keep posting your ideas and discoveries!
i agree with the cherry blossoms. i was thinking about that today because they might not be as fresh in class if we decide to bring it and put it on our wall, also, if we think about it, stores dont really use fresh flowers on displays that much..im sure there are fake ones that are cheap..maybe they have them at michael's or something.
