materials update- in response to Larice's email

Hi all,

As I posted below I got the ribbon to hang the frames as Durand suggested. I thought we had agreed to not use the asian print fabric at the top of the wall since we are putting the blossoms all the way around to create a frame... is that incorrect?

  2. I think the printed fabric is important. We have not heard back from Louisa so it is hard to say if she has made enough blossoms to create the border. Plus, I don't remember the group agreeing to not use fabric, but then again, I was pretty tired at that point and may not have been listening anymore. Can you maybe look for something reasonably priced that is in our color scheme. I have my work cut out for me trying to figure out these frames and teacups, etc....or else I would try to look myself.

  3. Ok, I'll check on prices for it before I go to work tomorrow morning, I'll buy it if I have enough money for it and post what I found when I get home from work tomorrow night, not until 10 or so.

If you don't have time to assemble everything you were planning on don't worry about it- I think with so many of us there for 2 hours to work in class we will be able to put it together no problem. How did the frames turn out?

  4. I like the color selection, Rustoleum red apple, but the frames were not primed so unfortunately they are chipping easily. The color underneath both large frames is noticeable and tacky. The smaller ones look good so far, but I haven't started messing with'em.
