Center Cube

Seems we are having trouble with a cohesive design. Last I heard, Alyssa found pink and yellow feathers for base coverings. Where are the birds, how big are they, and how many do we have??

My responsibility is the covering for the center cube and my color is "turquoise." I am all for bird toys so tomorrow I am going to figure out how to display a pair of shoes with this idea in mind.
Th picture below is my inspiration.

Also, I have been super busy this weekend with work, but I want to get materials tomorrow and try to post my idea for three cubes since we need a complete concept bad.

  1. Larice-I really like the idea of bird toys..I think at this point anything will be ok. I am going to work on my base coverings today .. Sorry I have also been really busy this week...does anyone have a yellow shoe we can use for thatcube?

Also maybe someone could get supplies like branches and paint them black? I feel like we will be able to use that for something..

  2. I'll get the yellow shoes at Macy's. (Sorry, thought I mentioned that in class)
I'm not sure if the look of the metalic eggs would make sense with the plastic bird toys. I may have to do something else w/ the eggs then. Let me know... 415-308-2667 I'll be out and about by 12:00 pm.

  3. I think the eggs will work as an accent, hopefully they will be small to medium in size and maybe a variety in size?? we can put more in one cube than another, or all in one. I don't know? But over all if the color "metallic" you choose matches throughout should make a connection. Can you let me know what paint you find and where I can pick-up the same product or I will call you when I stop by Michael's today. I am hoping, keeping my fingers crossed, I can find objects to act as bird toys there as well, but I might have to stop by a pet store too. I was planning to paint so that is where the metallic comes to play and helps to make the connection between eggs and toys. What is your opinion?
